1.Dewaxing

During the processing, in order to facilitate demolding, we will apply a layer of demolding wax on the mold. If not cleaned thoroughly, it can cause adverse reactions such as paint peeling and oil splashes.

2.Wax removal method

Using a pneumatic grinder and P180 sanding cloth to finely grind the surface of the product, and then test whether it is clean until the bright surface of the statue disappears. The areas that cannot be polished by the grinder should be polished by hand, and whether the surface is clean affects quality.

3.Polishing

When spraying fiberglass sculptures, the first thing is to ensure good surface effect. In case of large and thick materials, we should polish sketchily with electric Angle grinder and abrasive cloth wheel. If the surface of the mold is relatively smooth after polishing, it is necessary to use a pneumatic grinder to polish it with coarse paper, and at the same time, we should use putty to fill in the defective areas.

After surface treatment, a protective film is attached by impregnation or spraying to improve the aging and weather resistance of the product.
